Headline:

Showers, mainly in the south and west. Largely dry elsewhere.

Today:

Fairly cloudy with scattered showers in Wales, western England and Northern Ireland. Largely warm and dry elsewhere with bright spells, but a cooler feel on northeastern coasts as southeasterly winds strengthen across the country. Rain later for Northern Ireland.

Tonight:

Windy with spells of rain affecting western parts of England, Wales, and Scotland. The rain turning heavy and prolonged over Northern Ireland. Mainly dry but breezy elsewhere. Mild for many.

Monday:

Windy again with heavy rain spreading slowly eastwards, though staying dry and bright in the northeast. Persistent, very heavy rain likely for much of the day in Northern Ireland.
